Was going to do a 5km run tonight - weather is totally miserable - raining, cold and windy. There is still a bit of a niggle which I think some dry needling tomorrow will sort out. After I had the knee injury last year, when I started exercising again with the correct shoes, I used a knee guard and it has made a huge difference to how my knees feel when I am finished. I have been jogging a bit, trying to work up slowly as I get sore knees. But yesterday I did 15 mins on the treadmill and then ran up a big, steep hill and today the knee is complaining vigorously.
