This week I am thankful for :
- an unexpected trip to Rockhampton to see A (although it did mean that, while I was coping really well before I left, I found it a little more difficult when I got home.)
- the safe arrival of K home from her holiday in NZ
- and even better than her safe arrival home was hearing her say that she missed me !!!!!
- and then reading it on FB !!!!

nawww, that is sweet that she missed you. Maybe some time apart was just what was needed. I know I miss my mum more when I don't see her all the time! ;-) Glad you got to spend some extra time with A, but sorry it made it that much harder to come home :( Sucks!
ReplyDeleteLOL - Yes I was really surprised as normally when we are away and I ask her if she missed me she says "naaaaaaaaaaa it's been peaceful without you home" !!!!

ReplyDeleteLOL - yes I thought it was great she put it on FB !!! I went through a week of absolute madness and just couldn't find the time to hop onto SM - I missed everyone heaps !!!

Glad you had a lovely time away, and that K missed you. It always warms my heart when a girl wants her mum. Such a special bond. Sending lots of fairy wishes and butterfly kisses your way

How wonderful that your daughter said she missed you! and if she wrote it on facebook she really must have missed you!! I love it when my son comes back from camp and says he missed me. It didn't happen last time he went though *sigh*. I love your TFTD - beautiful. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Lizzy - sometimes I think it's different with boys and girls. I think boys miss their Mom's, they just don't say anything !!! Because I always ask K how much she missed me when we get back from being away and she always says she didn't, A has said a few times to me "You know she misses you but just won't admit it" and I do know that she misses us when we are away, it's just nice to hear it !!!!!

Lovely things to be thankful for! I'm thankful that it's the end of the week - it seems that short weeks always seem to go longer for some reason...!
