What Do You Know ?

And it's Friday again - for which I am most grateful although I do feel bad (very occasionally) for seeming to wish my life away waiting for Friday to come around !!!!

Linking in with Rhianna from A Parenting Life for one of the easiest linkies for the week - Things I Know.

- I know that going to gym 4 times in the week is fantastic

- I know that I am getting stronger every time I go

- I know that I am still the newbie in the classes but I don't care - I give it my best shot and that is all that I can ask from myself

- I know that paying (what works out to be) $4.53 per class in order for me to get fit and healthy is a small price to pay

- I know that I need to book in for my assessment and program so that I can mix up my exercise so my body is kept guessing about what I am doing (I will do this the week after next as A is due home today and so will be here next week and I would rather spend the time with him instead of spending more time at the gym)

- I know that I like that I can change the program whenever I want and they will work with me on a new program

- I know that this health kick can be rather addictive and I like that I am getting to the point where if I don't exercise I feel like cr*p - this means that I am more likely to keep on going because I love how I feel when I am finished a session

What do you know today ?
Have you blogged about it ?
Have you shared it with other
bloggers at A Parenting Life ?

Have the best weekend and take care !

TFTD : It’s not what you have been through that defines who you are; it’s how you got through it that has made you the person you are today.

    1. Don't be - I have such a different life to you and it is so much easier for me to get there than it is for you. You do what you can and be proud of what you do get done.
      Have the best Friday !

  3. Gosh four times a week in anything is impressive but in terms of gym going that is super impressive. I love that you are being kinder to yourself. Thanks so much for joining in #thingsiknow

    1. Thanks Rhianna - I wish it hadn't taken me so many years to learn that I can be kinder to myself !!! I have spent far too many years being far to hard, critical and judgemental of myself - I still am - only not as much anymore !!!
Have the best day and thanks for hosting !

    1. My dietician told me that I had to change my exercises around at least every 4-6 weeks because your body gets used to what you do and then you don't burn as many calories (apparently !)
      Have a wonderful day !

  7. way to go! I sometimes wonder if we should join a gym instead of going to our PT sessions we go to because I think it would end up cheaper, I just wonder if i would make the time to go. Hope you have a fantastic week with Al xo

    1. I start of exercising because I know it's supposed to be good for me but then I sort of get addicted to it and start to enjoy it - that is when K and A start to worry !!!! (Until I injure myself and then stop everything !!!)

  14. 4 times a week is awesome and everyone has to be a newbie at some point. Just remember when you are an "old hand" to smile at the newbie and make sure she knows she isn't alone.

  16. That's fantastic! four times a week?? ... you must be feeling so good! I guess it's like so many other things in life isn't it ... for ages you feel like your still a newbie and then all of a sudden one day you wake up and realise you're not anymore! As always, love your TFTD :)

  17. Four times a week at the gym, good going. I'm still walking most days and tonight I start Tamara Yoga, so I will be a newbie I know I will struggle, so I will keep my head down and plough on. xxx

  18. You are awesome!

What do I know today? I know that I don't want to be sitting here in the cubicle and it's really time to do something about it.
