Listmania Week 1

Joining in with the lovely Deb from Home Life Simplified (and only a few days late) for Listmania One - the linky that she started this week on Monday !!

Currently I am:

Reading : Twilight series (because I have read them so many times I know the story and, as I can't concentrate on anything long enough to keep the story line in my head, knowing the story ahead of reading it helps !!!)

Listening to : Hot Tomato / ABC Grandstand (cricket) / Tennis on TV

Laughing at : 2 Broke Girls

Swooning over : Roger Federer

Planning : A long weekend away to Stanthorpe and a holiday to Tasmania

Eating lots of :  Veggies

Feeling : More out of control than I like

Discovering : That all is not lost and I can work on dealing with my anxiety attacks

Looking at : How I can change my attitude towards K joining the police force

Wearing : Jeans and top

Cooking : Something easy and quick

Wondering : What the new dr will be like that I am going to see

Trying out : Exercises prescribed by the physio to help my knees

Why not join in and learn more about the people whose blogs you follow ?

Have the best day !

TFTD : Don't let your fear of striking out prevent you from never playing the game.
(Given how big a part baseball and softball have played in my life and in A's life, this TFTD is so appropriate)

  1. Hey, thanks for commenting on my blog. I am from South Africa so you would be spot on with the braai thing! I also think that Roger Federer is HOT! And I LOVE the Twilight Series.

    1. LOL - the 'braai' and 'too much PT downloading photos" - that was the thing that I read and thought "Gee - haven't heard that expression in forever" !!!!
      Have the best weekend !

    1. No, we haven't been to Tasmania before which is why it is on the list for this year - can't wait to see more of this beautiful country we live in !!! Yes, the fires down there are awful - made worse by the fact that often they are started by people !!!!

  3. I was a late convert to Twilight - have now read all the books but haven't seen the last movie yet - nearly went last night but changed my mind at the last minute and went to Les Mis instead!
A holiday in Tasmania will be wonderful.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Bec - I was also a late convert to the Twilight books - probably at least 12-18 months behind everyone else !!! The vampire component put me off !!!! Then K read the books and explained that it wasn't scary but rather a love story between a vampire and a human and between us we bought the books. Then I bought the eBooks but my eReader doesn't work anymore so have gone back to good old fashioned paperback books !!!
      Have the best week !

  4. I enjoyed the Twilight films (except the last one - what a disappointment!) but haven't read the books. I wonder how different they are to the movie?
My husband and I had a mini break to Stanthorpe a couple of years ago when I was just pregnant with our now almost 2 yo. Hubby had a ball (as I was the designated driver of course!) Seek out the little wineries - there are some gems! One of our faves was Tobin wines. Check it out!

    1. Thanks for that Brigitte - we will certainly have a look at that one. The movies are based loosely on the books - some poetic licence has certainly been taken !!!!!
Can't wait for tomorrow afternoon so we can leave - need to get through the rest of today and then most of tomorro first !
      Have a great day !

  6. Happy to hear that you are working through your anxiety attacks - it's not easy but you have more chance of learning to manage them better if you believe that you will succeed. Good luck with it Me!

    1. Thanks Kirsty - for sure I am going to succeed - I am not going to let them get the better of me. The dr I saw today has made me feel so much better already - just having someone listen and 'get' what I am saying has made the world of difference to how I feel.
Have the best long weekend !

  7. Oh do love Twilight. Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse series yet? That will be my next kindle investment I think. Don't worry about K & the police force. She's a big girl. Remember it's your right as a mama to worry but don't let it rule you xx
